 Kawasaki of Victoria, Inc. was established in 1973 by Pat Saunders. In 1974 Pat wanted to develop a race team and hired Dale Stubbs not only to race for the team but to coordinate the team. Through this relationship, Pat Saunders persuaded Dale to come manage the dealership. Dale pushed Pat to order one of each model. He felt if the customer could sit on the motorcycle they would buy it. He also persuaded Kawaski to sign up the dealership as one of the first five dealerships in the country to test the Kawasaki Jet Ski. It wasn't until 1976; Jet Skis were sold at all dealerships.
| | Dale is truly your motorcycle enthusiats. He loves every venue of riding - street, off road, and jet ski. Because of this love, in November of 1979 while trying to decide which one to buy for himself, he asked his bride which he should choose. Jokingly, she told him to buy them all. And that is what he did. With $87.00 dollars in his bank account, he went to United Bank and asked for a loan. At that time your word and a handshake were good enough. On January 31, 1980, Dale and Janet purchased the dealership and added Dale's Kawasaki to the name. Dale owned all the motorcycles he loved.

| In 1985, the dealership was moved to 307 E Rio Grande and two more lines, Honda and Seadoo were added. Once again, the dba changed to Dale's Fun Center which truly should of been the name in the first place.At this location Dale learn how important employees were to the dealership. Even though he would like to talk to every customer, there were only so many hours in a day. He built around him a knowledgable staff who loved motorcycles to help him. |
| In 2002, after hurricane Claudette, the dealership was totally destroyed. Dale and Janet set up shop next door while they built the new dealership on Navarro. Once again, while drawing up the plans, Dale felt the customers needs should come first. He built a large showroom with a covered patio off the front and over the service area to shade the customers. He also made sure there were lots of parking spaces available along with a large drive through to assist in loading and unloading customers units. |

| This has been Dale's mission for the last 29 years - to provide for the customer because he has always known - if it were not for them, he would not be able to own one of every motorcycle he loves. |
